Arc House

• Location: Kaifan, Kuwait

The soft curves of Arc House are inspired by the three-arch threshold between the garden and ground floor condition, which allow for a soft arching along the facade corners and the points in which the planes intersect.

In Arc House, a rectilinear open plan on the ground floor is extruded to inform the shape of the floors above. The master bedroom, located on the first floor, appears to “jut out” out of the otherwise unassuming mass, helping to shield the garden and create more privacy for the homeowner.
