Round House
Round House is a residential project inspired by the deep meaning of the number 3, which appears repeatedly in nature and life: in the petals of flowers, the leaves of plants and the harmony of proportions in art and mathematics. This motif symbolizes balance, unity and harmony, which are the starting point of the proposal.
In developing Round House we have embraced this trifold concept structuring the program into cohesive groups of three. This approach not only enhances aesthetic and functional coherence, but also reflects the intrinsic order of the natural world.
The volume of the house is generated by the combination of curved and straight surfaces, which provide a sense of continuity and enhance the project by adding depth and visual complexity. The fluid forms of Round House transcend the rigidity of traditional design, offering a natural and welcoming softness.
The curved planes amplify the perception of space while maintaining an intimate human scale.
The interior spaces of the house open onto controlled and protected gardens through large windows that enable to enjoy the views and natural light. The proposal contemplates the use of natural, noble and authentic materials, which represent the values of purity and honesty.
